Miss Noreen
Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Wright, Ladysmith, was given in
marriage by her father, July 25, to Dale Hoesser, Loyal, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Leon Hoeser.
The Hoeser-Wright wedding was solemnized at a 11
o’clocknuptial High Mass at which the Rev. Jerome Hoeser, Wausau, cousin of the
groom was the celebrant. Scene of the service was Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic
Church, Ladysmith. White daisies and yellow gladiolas were the altar
decorations. The choir sang for the Mass.
The bride selected a floor
length gown of pure silk chiffon, empire style fashioned with scalloped neckline
embroidered with seed pearls. Her bouffant skirt had lace appliqués of pearls.
Her three tiered bridal veil of silk illusion was caught to a rose
headpiece.
She carried a cascade of elegant white stephanotis, golden
garnet roses and white pom poms.
Her aides, Mrs. Anne Hauber, Milwaukee,
the maid of honor; Miss Katherine Young, Milwaukee; Miee Mary Ellen Hoeser,
sister of the groom, Loyal and Miss Sharon Diederick, Ladysmith, the
bridesmaids, donned identical street length dresses of yellow peau taffeta, with
skirts of silk embroidered organza. Their headpieces were daisy petals with
circular veils attached. Their bouquets were baskets of white marquerette
daisies.
In the groom‘s party were Ronald Hoeser, Loyal, brother of the
groom-the best man; Paul Wright, Madison, brother of the bride; Harry Schmitt
and Duane Zellmer, Milwaukee the groomsmen
Ring bearer, David Hoesser,
nephew of the groom and Linda Stoker, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She
wore a dress identical to the bride and held a white daisy basket, as she
scattered small daisy blossoms in the bride’s path.
The bride placed a
bouquet of white roses on the altar of the Blesses Virgin, while the choir sang
“On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother.”
A wedding dinner was held at the
Tea-A-Way Supper Club for relatives and out-of town friends.
A reception
for 300 guests followed at the home of the bride’s parents and a dance at
Tea-A-Way Club that evening.
Guests attended from Milwaukee, Watertown,
Madison, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, Wausau, Minneapolis, Marshfield, Neillsville,
Spencer, Greenwood, Loyal and Ladysmith area.
The new Mrs. Hoeser
graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1961, attended College of Medical
Technology at Minneapolis and is secretary at Globe Union Inc., Milwaukee.
Her husband attended St. Anthony’s School, graduated from Loyal High School
in 1956 and is employed as foreman at Globe Union Inc., Milwaukee.
They
have returned from their honeymoon trip to the badlands, Black Hills,
Yellowstone and Circle, Montana. They are now home to their friends at Milwaukee
at 4457 N. Hopkins St.
