Yndogliato, Mr.
and Mrs. Tom (Silver - 29 March 1970)
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Yndogliato of Rt.
3 Neillsville celebrated their Silver wedding anniversary March 29 by serving a
7 p.m. buffet supper at their home. Present for the occasion were their son,
George Jonkel and his wife, Jean, and four children who had arrived Saturday
from Huron, S. D. Other supper guests included Mr. and Mrs. Donald Erpenbach of
Stratford; Leonard (Mick) Sollberger of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Pflughoeft of rural Neillsville.
A son, Dr. Charles Jonkel and family of
Ottawa, Ontario were unable to come because two of the men who work with him in
Wild Life Service were lost on duty somewhere in the vicinity of the islands
northeast of Hudson Bay where they were engaged in making a check on polar
bears. A search party under Dr. Jonkel’s command was looking for them but at
this time there has been no further word.
Due to the air strike, Miss
Theo Jonkel was unable to come from San Francisco, Calif.
Afternoon
guests were Mrs. Bertha (Poertner) Sherman of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Pekol and children of rural Neillsville.
