Evans, Mildred Alice "Milly" (Rogers) (20 JUN1916* - 27 AUG 2005)

Mildred Alice "Milly" Evans, 89, town of Spirit, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, under the care of her family, caregivers and Hope Hospice and Palliative Care at her residence.

Milly and her late husband, Harry, operated a dairy farm for 40 years.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Winnie) Evans, Wausau, William (Darlene) Evans, Spirit, and John (Roxanne) Evans, Brantwood; one daughter, Elizabeth Seidel, Fall Creek; a son-in-law, Jim Gahnz, Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Francis (Ruth) Rogers, Waukesha, and Douglas (Lois) Rogers, Naselle, Wash.; one sister, Jane Kranich of Tampa, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spirit United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, town of Spirit. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at the Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home, Rib Lake, and again from noon until the time of the service Wednesday at the church.
