Henry Sternitzky transacted
business at Neillsville the latter part of last week.
John Arneson of Abbotsford
arrived Thursday to visit with the J. Marian family and his sister Clara, who
closed her school on Friday. They
both left on Saturday for Abbotsford.
Those who transacted business at
Marshfield the past week were John Breseman, Carl Wiertz, Ed Ure, Oscar
Breseman, Chas. and Otto Anding.
Mrs. Simpson and little Opel,
Mrs. Wm. Opelt of Lindsey were calling on friends in Lyon Monday eve.
Miss Martha Sternitzky of
Marshfield arrived Tuesday and will sew an indefinite time for Mrs. H.C. Norman.
Miss Sparks of Nevins is
assisting with the household work in the E.F. Brooks family.
Arthur and Lillie Opelt went to
Neillsville last Saturday, the later to have dental work done.
The Misses Grace and Sadie
Zimendorf and Mrs. R. Schreiber of Sherwood were visitors of Mrs. J. Breseman
the fore part of the week.
Wells Beecher has accepted a
position with the Thorp Butter and Cheese Co. of Thorp. Mr. Beecher will have
complete management of the factory he has charge of.
He is moving his household goods and family this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt attended
the Married Folks dance at Granton Friday evening.
Max Opelt will give an Easter
dance at the park Saturday, April 18th.
