Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Dawes arrived Friday afternoon after an absence of about 4 months.  During this time they were in Forest County.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark Waterman returned Friday afternoon.  Clark looks quite good considering the accident he went through. He went back to work Monday morning.

L.A. Reichert received a car of flour Monday.

The treasurer of the Ladies Aid would kindly request those who have signed for the minister’s salary and have not paid yet, to do so this week.  The minister is going to leave and a settlement ought to be made before he leaves.

The oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert McNeal had not been feeling very well for some time past, but seems to be getting along a little better lately.

After April 1st, 1914, the stores of Chili will be closed at 6 o’clock on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evening of each week until further notice to enable the clerks to have a little time for themselves.  All patrons of the stores are being notified by mail. It is hoped that the patrons will cooperate with the store keepers and clerks to make this move a success.

Mrs. Chas Lindow and daughter and Mrs. Lydia Happe left Friday for Humbird for a visit at the Schwartz home.  From there they went to Tomahawk for a visit with Rev. Happe.

Mrs. McNamara has been here caring for her sister Mrs. Albert Wendorf for the past week.

Clark Waterman is again at work.

Dr. Housely left Monday for Chicago to attend the funeral of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Housley of that city.
