Thwing, Clara J. (1 SEP 1869 - 28 APR 1911)

Mrs. W.E. Thwing, nee Clara Josephine Scovel, was born Sept. 1, 1869 in Fillmore Co., Minn. In 1876 she came to Clark County with her parents, who settled in the town of Beaver.

She was married to W.E. Thwing in 1885 and moved to Columbia County, Wis., where they lived till 1899, when they moved back to Beaver. Here she lived with her family till called by God, April 28th, 1911.

She became a member of the Baptist Church of Greenwood June 5, 1910 and was a faithful believer in Christ to the time of her death.

She leaves a husband, five sons and two daughters to mourn her loss. Two children have gone before her: Mary and Maynard. Those living are David, Rufus, Ruth, Ethelbert, Myron, Henry and Bernice.
