Anderson, Mr./Mrs. M.J. (15th - 27 MAY 1911)
Saturday evening, May 27th,
1911, at their home four miles east of Valler, the fifteenth wedding anniversary
of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Anderson was celebrated. Their friends and neighbors to the
number of fifty or more gathered at their home and spent the evening in dancing,
card playing and other amusements. Good music was furnished by Messrs. Page and
Long Bros., which added greatly to the pleasantness of the occasion.
Refreshments were served about midnight by Mrs. Anderson, assisted by Mesdames
Parmelee, Edmonds, Perrins and others. Following the refreshments Mr. and Mrs.
Anderson were presented with an elegant rocking chair as a remembrance of the
occasion, Tom Edmonds presenting the chair with a few pleasant words. Mr. and
Mrs. Anderson were united in marriage fifteen years ago near Viroqua, Wis., and
moved to the Valler country two years ago, and are making a fine farm and
pleasant home out of their homestead upon which they settle. They proved
themselves splendid entertainers, as all present can attest. (The Valerian,
Valler, Mont.)
The Anderson are well known here, having lived in the town
of Warner, Clark Co., Wis.) for a number of years.
