Miss Eva Hogue is visiting her aunt, Mrs. O'Connor, in Minneapolis.
Walter and Gertie Prellwitz went to Sherry Saturday to visit their grandparents.
The Lady Maccabees will meet Friday, June 16th. All members are requested to
attend.
Eddie Linhardt, who has been visiting at F.J. Klinke's, returned
to Marshfield Saturday.
We have an interesting letter from W.J. Anderson,
Valler, Mont., which we will publish next week.
Miss Helen Youngs
returned from Minneapolis Saturday, where she has been attending boarding
school.
Mrs. G.C. Williams of Ottawa, Ohio, arrived Saturday and is
visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. E.K. Sheets.
Rev. W.E. Marsh
left Tuesday morning for Madison, where he will spend the week with his son
Herbert.
District Attorney Rush was up from Neillsville Sunday.
F.W. Shrimpton went to Milwaukee Tuesday on business.
Adolph Schwarze
returned from his Milwaukee trip Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Arends were
Colby visitors Saturday.
Bernard Hogue went to Spokeville Monday to visit
relatives.
Mrs. E.N. Paul and daughter Eunice visited in Withee last
week.
Editor Roessler of Loyal was a visitor in the city Sunday.
Miss Florence Watson started Monday for Aberdeen, S.D.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Plecity and son Leo came down from Gilman Monday.
The Ladies' Aid will
meet with Mrs. Drummond Friday afternoon, June 16th.
A baby girl was born
to Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Hoehne Saturday, June 10, 1911.
G.S. Barlow reports
a baby girl born to Mr. and Mrs. Al N. Simon at Arcadia Sunday.
A
children's day program will be given in the Baptist Church Sunday evening. All
are cordially invited.
Miss Clella Andrews went to Appleton Monday to
attend the Lawrence College commencement exercises this week.
The
Greenwood Telephone Company recently built a new farmer line east of Longwood
and installed phones for Fred Leeman, John Awe, Mrs. Fred Awe, M. Schroeder,
Henry Awe, Frank Schroeder, Elmer Hanson and A.W. Schulte.
Miss Lucile
Grashorn went to Appleton last Friday to be present at the graduation exercises
at Lawrence College this week.
Dr. Kennedy of Milwaukee will be in
Greenwood Tuesday, June 20th for one day only. Practice limited to eye, ear,
nose and throat.
