Humbird (2

Mrs. Edna Spuhler of Marshfield was a guest several days last
week at the Jean Collins home.
Sgt. Jams Collins, who is stationed at
Fort Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska, called his mother, Mrs. Jean Collins, Sunday
morning to wish her and her mother a Happy Easter.
Mrs. Will Theiler
went to Marshfield Monday for a checkup.
Mr and Mrs. George Zuehlke of
Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and family were dinner guests Sunday at the
Oscar Johnson home in Taylor.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Staves and children of
St. Paul were weekend guests at the Donald Staves and Lyle Newell homes. Sunday
Mrs. Sharon Fitzpatrick and children of Black River Falls joined them for dinner
at the Newell home.
Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Taylor and son of Mosinee
were weekend guests at the Mel Markham home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lightfoot
were supper guests Sunday at the home of their son, Jake, Jr., on the farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tande spent Thursday afternoon at the Levi Fitzmaurice home.
Mrs. Laura Baumgartner was an Easter dinner guest at the john Greub home.
Carl Greub of Neillsville spent a while at the home of his brother.
Mr.
and Mrs. Allen Zimmerman of Fairchild were dinner guests of Mrs. Albert Olson
Sunday.
Marie Dimmick of Black River Falls spent Thursday and Friday
with Pammy at the Elmer Duerkop home.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe had Easter
Sunday dinner with his sister, Mrs. Mary Iffland, in Neillsville.
Mr.
and Mrs. Elmer Duerkop and family were guests Sunday at the Armond Fisher home
in Pleasantville.
Miss Kathy Seelow of Milwaukee is spending a week with
her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Kirby.
Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Kaufman
and little son, Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Schweinler and family of Elroy and daughter
and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Benish of Hillsboro, were Easter Sunday dinner
guests of Mrs. Freida Zerbel.
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stanley and Mrs. Emma
Gerber returned Sunday evening after a several days’ visit at the home of Mrs.
Fred Gerber in Madison and with Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Riggs in Zion, Ill. Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley visited at the Harvey Patterson home in Milwaukee Saturday. Mr.
Stanley attended a postmasters’ meeting in Madison Thursday and Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice and Mildred were dinner and supper guests Sunday
at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fitzmaurice in Augusta.
Mrs.
Helen Fitzmaurice came home Saturday night from the hospital. Her daughter, Mrs.
Viollette Vander Kooi of Port Washington, was with her over Sunday.
Jake
Lightfoot had a pleasant surprise Wednesday when four of his co-workers from Eau
Claire of 25 years ago, Lawrence Emerson, Jim Emerson, Tim Lee and Ben Brian,
came to spend the afternoon with him.
