Paries here received a carload of straw last week.
A.L.
Clair transacted business in Fairchild Wednesday.
Ed Holman and partner
began work for A.L. Clair on Monday.
Samuel Long shipped a carload of
wood to Fairchild this week.
H.W. Decker of Greenwood is assisting on
D.S. Holsinger's house.
Stephen Plautz and wife were transacting business
in Greenwood Tuesday.
Three of the Shepherd boys from Fairchild are
cutting wood for A.C. Altenbern.
Mrs. Henry Long left Monday for a few
weeks visit with her parents who reside at Mt. Morris, Ill.
Edward Holman
and brother of Fairchild came up Monday morning and began work for A.L. Clair.
The past week D.S. Holsinger had a force of men getting logs ready for his
new house. The main part will be 16 by 30, with a kitchen 12 x 18.
