Davis, Shirley Marie (12 December 1930 - 13 July 2013)
Shirley Davis, 82,
of Granton died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at her home.
Shirley Marie Davis
was born Dec. 12, 1930, in the Town of York, Granton, the daughter of Truman
Eldred and Myrtie Mae (Peaslee) Davis. She lived with her brother, Warren, her
entire life and was a lifelong member of the York Center Methodist Church and
its ladies Aid. Shirley worked for the Weinbrenner Shoe Company in Marshfield
for many years, retiring in 1984.
She is survived by her son, Jim
(Cindy) Davis of Marshfield; four grandchildren, Jennifer Landwehr, Jim (Becky)
Davis, Tiffany (Quenton) Draeger and Travis (Kari) Landwehr; and six
great-grandchildren, Jordan Landwehr, Ashley Landwehr, Evan Dais, Olivia
Draeger, Amelia Hoelzlhammer and Maddie Draeger. Shirley is also survived by a
brother, Marvin (Mable) Dais of Plato, MO, and three sisters, Angeline (Robert)
Schultz of Greenwood, Patricia (Bernie) Kitzhaber of Greenwood and Ila Mae
(Bill) Wolf of Nekoosa, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Warren.
Funeral services
for Shirley will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the York Center United
Methodist Church. Pastor Patsy Roe will officiate. Music will be provided by
Lori Rose. Interment will be in the York Center Cemetery. Visitation will be
from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Davis, Travis Landwehr, Quenton Draeger, Daniel Kitzhaber, Allan Kitzhaber and
Rick Osborn.
