Funeral services were held for Delia A. Meyer, 77, in New
York City April 3, and interment was made in the Colby Cemetery.
Delia Meyer was born July 18, 1887, in the town of Colby.
She graduated from the Colby high school and attended Stevens Point and
Oshkosh teachers colleges. She
taught school in this vicinity for 10 years and then departed for New York in
1918 where she worked as a dress designer until her retirement.
She is survived by six brothers, Frank of Colby, Richard of Gig Harbor, Wash., Charles of Seattle, Wash., Ben of Chippewa Falls, Walter, Marengo, and Donald, Seattle, Wash., and three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Lillian) Hall of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Walter (Amy) Schuette of Neenah, and Mrs. Lewis (Mildred) Bailey, Seattle, Wash.
