Herman Friese of Thorp was on our streets Saturday in his new
auto.
Mr. and Mrs. Hans Anderson returned home from their honeymoon on
Thursday.
Mrs. James Johnson and three children of superior are visitors
at the Barager home this week.
The Clark County medical Association held
their annual meeting at Thorp on Wednesday afternoon.
W.R. Howard and son
of Greenwood transacted business in the village Monday.
Severia
Ammentorp, who has been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Nielsen Jr.
returned to their home in Chicago on Wednesday.
Dr. Sillick of Greenwood
made a professional call in this village Wednesday.
W.C. Tufts, C.H.
Patrie and their wives were in attendance at the Barnum and Bailey shows at Eau
Claire yesterday. They made their trip by auto.
The Congregational Church
at Owen was the scene of a very pretty wedding Wednesday evening, June 14, 1911.
Rev. A.W. Cook pronounced the words that unite for life Mr. Benhart Bruchert of
Owen and Miss Martena Anderson of the same city.
Mesdames Dempsey and
Moody entertained about fifty ladies Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. L.
Moody. In the brilliant gathering were ladies from Neillsville, Greenwood and
Owen.
Messrs. And Mesdames L.M. Marsh and L.U. Williamson came over from
Neillsville last Sunday in Mr. Marsh's auto. The party took dinner at the
Commercial Hotel.
