Earl Orrick came home from Fond du Lac Monday.

Miss Lila McGivan of Marshfield spent the 4th here with Miss Velma Kelley.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Johnson and son Neil of Fond du Lac spent the 4th here visiting relatives.

Hugh Meek of Fond du Lac spent the 4th here. He came down from Withee Monday.

Henry Mattice died this (Thursday) afternoon of heart troubel and dropsy at the home of his niece, Mrs. Clarence Green.

John Andrews of Duluth recently bought the Frank Halkney place north of town.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Jensen of Neillsville mother, Mrs. Mary Larson on Tuesday.

Don Hunt came home from Eau Claire Tuesday to spend the 4th with his folks.

Fred Speich of berlin was here the first of the week to visit friends and spent the 4th.

The St. Ann's Society will meet with Mrs. Henry Gries Thursday, July 13.

The Royal Neighbors will only meet once a month during the warm weather. Remember the place and date, the second Wednesday evening at eight o'clock at the Woodmen Hall.

The King's Daughters will meet next week Wednesday afternoon, July 12, with Mrs. H. Van Voorhis.

Miss eEmma Sweet arrived Saturday from Baraboo. She has been visiting there and at Bangor for a few weeks since, coming from Chicago. Miss Sweet has been taking training at a missionary training school during the winter and spring.
