The Ladies Aid met at Jas. Syth last Thursday. A good sized crown attended,
considering the weather.
The Meinhardt brothers have their sawing outfit
on the Eau Claire river, where they have the contract to saw a large amount of
logs into lumber.
Myrtle Syth won the prize given at the masquerade ball
in Greenwood last Friday evening.
Joe Christie has taken another cream
route for the Greenwood Creamery, making four trip a week now.
Mr. and
Mrs. James Tompkins visited her sister and parents last Sunday at Christie.
Jimmie Syth is going to work for the Meinhardt brothers on the Eau Claire
this week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Syth and baby Syth and Mrs. B. Syth from
Greenwood were entertained at the home of their uncle James Syth, last Sunday.
Ruth Weast visited Francis Potter on Saturday.
Mrs. Sam Christie is
quite ill with a bad cold.
