Viola, the little daughter of James Martindale, is reported very sick with pneumonia.

Mrs. Chas. Broker, Irvin Young and Wm. Mulholland visited Emil Jossie and family last Sunday.

Mable Hake and Elsie Raether of Neillsville visited Mrs. Willis J. Armitage and attended the masquerade dance at Christie.

The masquerade dance at Christie last Friday night was well attended and a good time was reported by all.

Farmers hauled sawdust Monday for the Acme Creamery company's ice house.

Robert McKimm died at his home in York last Friday with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held this afternoon. Further particulars will be given next week.

Don' forget the sociable at Mrs. Chas. Broker's for dinner Feb. 4th.

J.B. Kaudy from Colby was visiting friends here about a week ago. He was going to sell fire extinguishers, but the weather did not permit much business to be done.
