Mrs. Julius Rossow and children visited at Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rossow's Monday.

A birthday surprise party was given on Mrs. I. Hembre last Monday in honor of her 39th birthday. About fifty of her neighbors and friends were present. Many useful and beautiful presents were received and a good time reported by all.

Miss Alma Larson from Chicago is visiting her father, Mrs. Martin Larson of Warner.

Ernest Vine, I. Hembre, John Person and Wm. Dittner attended the School Board Convention at Neillsville Thursday.

While hauling bolts to Greenwood John E. Johnson had the misfortune to get quite badly hurt. Part of the load fell off, which caused Mr. Johnson to fall in between the horses and dragged about 20 or 30 rods while partly under the sleigh.

A surprise party was given on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Buttke Saturday night.
