Columbia (6 Jan 1916)
Miss Norton, a former teacher here, spent Saturday
and Sunday at the Schlender home.
John Larson has been working for Pearl
Braman at Dells Dam.
Arthur Starrett came from Elgin, Ill., Thursday to
visit with friends here. He intends to stay a week or ten days. Everyone was
quite surprised to see him.
Miss Mamie Rouse went to St. Paul Saturday
for a week’s visit with her sister.
The boys are all home from the sugar
beet factory.
Mrs. Ed. Everson, who has been visiting her parents here,
left Thursday for a visit with her sister, who lives in the southern part of the
state.
