Mr. and Mrs. John Olson of Black River Falls spent New Year’s with Mrs. Lon Cook and family.

Emma Bruny came home from St. Paul for a two weeks’ vacation with the home folks.

School commenced here Monday after a two weeks’ vacation, but the attendance was small as everybody has the grippe.

Sadie and Vera Weisner are here from Circle, Montana, for a visit with their sister, Mrs. Herman Schultz.

Several from here attended the dance at Globe Saturday night and report a good time.

We hear that Mrs. Herman Albretch and son, Paul, are visiting relatives at Ripon.

Mrs. Ed. Wightman and daughter, Alice, spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Dave Wood.

Mrs. Jesse Metcalf and children of Altoona have been visiting the home folks here, Alden Metcalf and wife.
