Reed, Charles (President of State Cheese Makers – Jan 1916)
At the annual
meeting of the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association at Milwaukee last week, Chas.
Reed was honored by being elected president. He succeeds O.A. Damrow of
Sheboygan Falls who has been president of the association for three years. The
Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association is one of the largest and strongest trade
organizations in the state and represents a $30,000,000 annual output. There are
2000 cheese makers in the state and the state cheese makers association is one
which it is quite an honor to head. Mr. Reed owns and operated the County Farm
Cheese Factory and has always taken a great interest and active part in every
movement which would tend to develop the dairying industry of the county as well
as the state and his friends here will be gratified to learn that recognition
has come for his earnest efforts in the past.
