New cases of la grippe are developing every day.
A baby boy put in
his appearance Tuesday, Jan. 4th, and thus brightened the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Abie Turner.
Louie Lawrence’s schoolmates gave him a surprise party last
Thursday, the occasion being given in honor of his birthday. All present enjoyed
the fun, especially pulling candy.
Al Turner of Loyal visited with his
son and family on Sunday.
Gus. Olson of Neillsville spent the past week
here with friends.
Mrs. Ed. Northup has been quite sick with la grippe
the past week.
Fay Livingston has gone to Ladysmith, so reports say.
Julius Voigt is mourning the death of his beloved Prince horse. He dropped
dead which being driven to the cheese factory.
Emil Schoenfield and wife
are home from their visit at Plymouth and Milwaukee since the holidays.
Ross Root has returned to his work at Westby.
On account of so much grip
the attendance at school has been small.
Rawleigh Rondorf, who has been
in Canada for several months, returned home last Wednesday.
Omer Deets
and family attended the funeral of their nephew at Heathville last Sunday.
John Vande Berg received his green bone cutter last Saturday. We expect his
hens will get plenty of sausage meet now.
