Chase, Mary (8 Jan 1916)
Mr. Ernest Rogers and Miss Mary Chase were united in marriage Jan. 8th, 1916, at
Conrath, Rev. T.D. Van Buren officiating. The groom was born at York, being the
son of Mr. and Mrs. N. Rogers, and since moved to Hannibal. He is a young man of
energy, intelligence and public spirit. The bride is a lady of rare good sense
and high womanly qualities, well fitted in every way to be a homemaker. She is a
daughter of Mrs. S.H. Chase of Christie. After finishing country school, she
attended high school at Neillsville, also taking a course in domestic science.
They left at once for Hannibal where the groom has a position. We join in
wishing them much joy and happiness.
