Manufacturing building (Vandalized - 2013)
The Owen Manufacturing
building at 331 Oak Street, Owen, suffered approximately $50,000 in damage from
a break-in that occurred in late June or early July.
Vandals broke most
of the windows and damaged office walls, doors, and ceilings of the 60,000
square foot building. The investigation is ongoing. The incident was reported to
the Owen Police Department on July 9.
Owner, Marvin Matejka, Blair, is
offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest, conviction and
restitution by the parties involved in the break-in. He said he damages were not
covered by insurance.
