Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burows, route 1, Colby, marked their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, April 11, with an open house at the Frankfort town hall from 2 to 5 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Burow were married April 12, 1915, in Milwaukee.  They farmed near Edgar until 1916, when they moved to their present home in the town of Frankfort.  They have now retired from farming.

The four children of the couple are Mrs. Ray Bogenschneider of Theresa; Mrs. Edward Nagel, Edgar; Mrs. Edward Westphal, Milwaukee.  ~~~~~~~~~

Mr. and Mrs. Burow have been members of the St. John’s American Lutheran church in the town of Wien for the past 48 years.
