Hilbert, AF/Sgt. Michael (Military Notes 1970)
AF/Sgt. Michael L. Hilber,
son of Mrs. Elaine A. Hilber of Marshfield, has returned to Ellsworth AFB, S.
D., after six months temporary duty at a forward base in the western Pacific.
Sgt. Hilber, a construction equipment operator with the 28th Bomb Wing at
Ellsworth, supported B-52 Strato-fortress bombing missions against enemy targets
and KC-135 Strato-tanker missions that provided refueling for aircraft
conducting the air wear over Vietnam. H is a 1966 graduate of Marshfield Senior
High School. His father, Leo F. Hilber, resides in Colby.
