Sternitzky, Frieda (7 May 1899 - 19 April 1970)
Mrs. Gilbert Sternitzky,
70, of Plymouth, a former resident of Lynn, died Sunday afternoon in Plymouth
Hospital where she had been a patient for a year.
The former Frieda
William was born May 7, 1899, in Berlin, Germany, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl
William. She came to Clark County with her parents in 1905. She attended the
Lynn Public School and the Lutheran School in Granton. She and Gilbert
Sternitzky of the Town of Lynn were married December 18, 1917. They lived in
Plymouth since 1922. Mrs. Sternitzky was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in
Plymouth.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Norbert of Plymouth
and Gilbert, Jr., Howard Grove, Millersville, and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from St. John Church in
Plymouth, with the Rev. Robert Berhardt, associate pastor, officiating. Burial
was made in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
Relatives who attended the
funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternitzky, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky,
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ure, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ure and Murial, Mr. and Mrs. Duane
Rollins, Mr. and Mrs. Urban Schmidt of Neillsville, Mrs. Frieda Johnson, Mr. and
Mrs. Larry Schumacher, Mr and Mrs. Victor Seehafer of Chili.
