Hansen, Susan (Marriage - 18 April 1970)

Miss Susan Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hansen of Loyal, was united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 18, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield to William Loos, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Loos of Loyal. The Rev. Fr. Brezenski performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in an A-line silhouette floor-length gown accented with Chantilly lace as she was escorted to the altar by her father. Her gown featured long sleeves with ruffles at the neckline and wrists, and a pearl crown with petal effects secured a veil of bouffant illusion. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses accented with ivy and stephanotis and centered with a white orchid.

Mis Kathleen Potter, maid-of-honor, wore a short pouf-sleeved gown of dotted Swiss with a full-line skirt gathered in back, and a matching head piece. She carried a bouquet of white daisies with yellow streamers.

Chuck Loos served as bestman.

A reception was held in Spencer Municipal Hall.

The bride and groom both attended Loyal High School. She is a receptionist for the Modern Sleep Products Co., and he is employed by the Land O’ Lakes Division of Spencer Dairybelt.

On their return from a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. Loos will reside at 508 Chestnut Avenue in Marshfield.
