Leona A. Albrecht, 92, Medford, died
on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday,
Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev.
James Krueger officiating. Interment will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
Active pallbearers are Pete, Todd, Terry, Travis, Zachary, Michael and Jason
Albrecht, and Derek Vaughn. Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Chipman, Amy
Albrecht, Amber Riley, Tanya Clyde, Elizabeth Vignali, Craig Chipman and Adam
Vaughn.
Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, Aug. 11 from 4
to 7 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
The former Leona Dassow was born on September 24, 1920 in Whittlesey to the
late William E. and Magdalena (Frischman) Dassow Sr. She attended Gad School.
She moved to Milwaukee where she was a live-in nanny, then worked at a shoe
factory for a year until returning to the area.
On August 4, 1942 in
Dubuque, Iowa, she married Lorin A. Albrecht, who survives. She was a homemaker
and mother. She was also a seamstress.
She was a member of Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran Church and Sunny Hill Homemakers Club. She enjoyed fishing,
camping, quilting, cooking and baking.
In addition to her husband,
survivors include five children, Lorna Chipman, Gary (Georgine) Albrecht and
Larry (fiancée Jane Lekie) Albrecht, all of Medford, George (Donna) Albrecht of
Niceville, FL, and Bruce (Diane) Albrecht of Gad; 15 grandchildren; and 17
great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by two grandchildren, Michael and David Albrecht; six sisters, Elise
Loeffler, Bert Diels, Amanda Steen, Gertrude Weiler, Hildagard Jari and Martha
in infancy; and eight brothers, William, Ervin, Herbert, Ernest, Gerald, Lester,
Raymond and Frank in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made
to her family to be designated at a later date.
