Schorer, Judith Ann (Marriage - 18 April 1970)
Miss
Judith Ann Schorer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verland Schorer of loyal was united
in marriage at 3 p.m. April 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity to Darrel
Lynn Elpert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Elpert of Loyal. The Rev. Rob4er4t
Sutherland performed the double ring ceremony, in the presence of approximately
50 guests.
The bride was attired in an empire waist dress with lace and
taffeta accented with white ribbons as she was escorted to the altar by her
father. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses with wide ribbons and
little rosebuds trailing down.
Mrs. Nancy Moede, matron-of-honor, wore a
yellow extended waist gown with ruffled chiffon. She carried a fan bouquet of
pink and white carnations.
Orvis Moede served as bestman.
A
reception was held in Unity Memorial Hall with approximately 200 guests
attending.
The bride graduated from Colby High School in 1968 and he
groom attended Loyal High School. Mrs. Elpert is working for a shoe factory in
Marshfield and he is employed by a dairy in Colby.
