Hezekiah Hubble returned from Dakota Tuesday.

G.B. Andrews and wife went to Chicago Wednesday.

Hezekiah Hubble went to Black River Falls on business Wednesday.

The German Ladies Society will meet with Mrs. C.C. Hoehne Friday, May 28.

Rue Cummings has accepted a position in the dry goods department of the Big Store.

C.A. Tripp of Marshfield came over Tuesday for a few days on business and pleasure.

Rev. S.E. Sweet will preach the annual baccalaureate sermon in the M.E. Church Sunday evening, May 23.

Mrs. A.P. Raymond went up to Owen Saturday morning for a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Sam St. John.

It should be remembered by Lady Maccabees that the night of meeting has been changed. The meeting this week is on Friday evening.

E.E. Van Voorhis and wife went to Wausau Monday.

Miss Viola Pfunder spent Sunday with the home folks.

Chris Kippenhan of Loyal was a Greenwood visitor last Wednesday evening.

The King's Daughters will meet at Mrs. A.P. Raymond's Wednesday afternoon, May 26.

A refreshing rain storm visited this section Saturday morning and gave grass and buds a good start.

Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. H. Deckes were up from Neillsville in an automobile last Wednesday.

Paul Rossman Sr. and Frank Carter went down to Neillsville Tuesday as jury men. Judge Reed of Wausau is holding court.

Geo. Sweet of San Francisco is visiting a few days as the home of his father, Rev. S.E. Sweet. He arrived Tuesday evening.

The Loyal Temperance Legion will meet in the M.E. Church Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. All children are cordially invited to be present.

E.T. Burch went to Marshfield last Tuesday and purchased goods from a Chicago wholesale representative.. He was accompanied by his daughter.
