Dorothea (1816? - 3 AUG 1909)
Last week Tuesday one of the oldest
residents in this part of the state passed away at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
Mrs. Dorothea Bruchert, after 93 years of a useful and Christian life, and who
had endeared herself to all that knew her, passed to the great beyond from which
there is no returning.
Rev. Schrein of Stanley officiated at the funeral
services that were held in the Congregational Church on Friday last. She leaves
to mourn her death, two sons, Ausut and William Bruchert, and three daughters,
Mrs. August Lemke, Mrs. Edward Neimag and Mrs. August Neitzel, besides two score
of grand and great-grandchildren.
