York Center (3 Feb 1916)

Katie and Alta Wright are sick with measles.

Will and Orin Lawrence were called home from Minneapolis by the death of their sister, Mrs. Olive Campbell.

A.E. Fulwiler left last Saturday for Marshfield to visit a few days before returning to Milwaukee.

Horace Vande Berg has been confined to his home the past week by the grip.

Last week some of our farmers were compelled to carry water to their stock on account of the icy condition of the ground.

Some of the stockholders in the Farmers’ Co-Operative Elevator attended the meeting at Neillsville last Saturday.

Miss Myrtle Rogers of Beach, N.D., is visiting here.
