Mrs. Jos. Silsby fell last week and broke her arm.
John Dwyer fell
Saturday and broke a couple ribs.
Adolph Ebbinghausen and wife of
Crookston, Minn., spent Sunday here with H.E. Bartell and family.
Irma
Woelffer entertained her school class at a sleigh ride party Tuesday in honor of
her birthday.
Dr. Brooks will be at Minneapolis on Friday and Saturday of
this week and his office will be closed on those days.
A tobacco dealer
at Marshfield was fined $25 last week for selling cigarette papers to boys under
16 years of age.
Miss Zura Fricke is home from the state university for
the inter-semester vacation. Her mother met her at Merrillan Monday.

Wepfer came up from Norwalk Saturday, returning the first of the week. His wife,
who spent a week here with her parents, returned home with him.
Vincent
Burrows and wife spent a few days at Eau Claire last week, where Mr. Burrows
attended a butter makers’ convention.
Miss Elsie Tragsdorf left Sunday
for a month’s visit with her sister, Miss Lillian, at Ruston, La. She will stop
at New Orleans to attend a mardi gras.
The ladies of the German American
Alliance will give a box social at the home of Mrs. H.E. Korman for the benefit
of the Red Cross Society.
