Anding, Otto
(16 July 1892 - 29 April 1970)
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2
p.m. from the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant, for Otto
Anding, 77, a lifelong resident of the Town of Lynn, who died April 29. The Rev.
Evan Dieck officiated and burial was made in the Lynn Cemetery.
Mr.
Anding was born July 16, 1892, in the Town of Lynn, where he received his
education. He was married there to Sadie Bass, February 25, 1920. The couple had
operated a farm in the Town of Lynn and had observed their Golden wedding
anniversary in February of this year. He was a member of the Zion American
Lutheran Church and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his
wife; a son, Warren Anding of Stewartville, Minn.; three brothers, Richard of
Detroit, Mich., Charles of Neillsville and Alfred of Mayville; two sisters, Mrs.
Elsie Gress of Neillsville and mr. Helen Harriman of Owen; and three
grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Oscar Krause, Roger Tyler, Keith Bass,
Martin C. Krause, Louis Breseman and Harvey Johnson. The congregation sang the
hymn, “Nearer My God to Thee”.
