Dave Shanks tried fishing Sunday and caught a 17 1/2 pound
muskellunge.
Paul Rossman had a well dug on hsi property on Harrison St.
Miss Emma Hendren took her Sunday school class to the river on a picnic.
A class of six, three boys and three girls were confirmed on Sunday at the
Norwegian Lutheran Church.
B.F. Johnson threshed 71 1/2 bushels of wheat
from only two acres of ground.
The Greenwood second nine defeated Loyal
at that place in a championship game by a score of 47 to 30.
S.P. Putnam
of New York lectured to a large sized audience Sunday.
Several couples
drove down Black River Sunday and took a picnic dinner with the ants,
grasshoppers, etc.
