Harry
Kueltz, 72, of Eau Claire and former chairman of the Town of Seif, died about
7:15 a.m. Monday of a heart attack while visiting friends in the Town of Seif.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Thursday) from
the Smith Funeral Chapel in Eau Claire.
Mr. Krueltz was stricken while in
bed at the Fred Quast home on Rt. 3, Neillsville, where he had visited over the
weekend. He was found by Mrs. Quast. Mr. Kueltz had suffered from a heart
ailment since 1966, when a heart attack forced his resignation as chairman of
Seif.
During his six years as chairman, Mr. Kueltz was active in town
improvements, including roads, town dump area, and the marking or naming of
township roads. The Town of Seif was the first in Clark County to name town
roads.
Mr. Kueltz was born June 27, 1897, in Magnolia, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Kueltz.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E.; a daughter, Mrs.
Charles Conkey; and two grandchildren, Steven M. and Richard C. Conkey.
