St. John’s & Immanuel Lutheran (Confirmation - 1970)

After two years of instruction and the teaching of the Bible, five young people publicly confessed their faith and on this basis were taken into communicant membership at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Christie at a 10 a.m. service last Sunday. They are: Duane Boon, Cheryl Erickson, Evan Lenz, Janis Lueck and Phyllis Seebandt. Two others, John Hagen and Donna Schultz, have had the same training, and will be taken into communicant membership at a 9:30 a.m. service Sunday, May 24, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe. The Rev. Robert Bitter is pastor of the two congregations.
