Ignac Cesnik was in Fairchild Sunday.

Daughenbaugh Bros. began work on Geo. Hintz' new house on Monday. They helped L. Kushlman build his new house last week.

Antone Jopouslo is building a log house.

Joseph Pester purchased a cow of I. Cesnik.

John Lucas has purchased a new horse.

Wm. Abel sold a cow to Jacob Blut.

Greenwood Heading & Lumber Co. will furnish doors, windows and window and door frames for the new schoolhouse.

The building committee received a carload of sand from Greenwood on Thursday.

E. Hanke got a carload of sand one day last week.

Frank Abel and family visited at the Clair home Sunday.

Ignac Cesnik is in Joliet, Ill. this week.

H. Prellwitz and Wm. Abel were in Fairchild Thursday and Friday.

A.L. Clair purchased four milk cows Friday.

Mr. A. Altenbern purchased two milk cows of A.L. Clair on Saturday.

Wm. Dammeier returned from Illinois last week.

Geo. Hintz, A.C. Altenbern, and Harvey Long all received a shipment of lumber from Owen the past week.

(Too late for last week)

Wm. Dammeier left Saturday for a brief visit with his parents at Lena, Ill. He was accompanied by his sister Luella and cousin Miss Evelyn Albright, who have been visiting here the past month.

Prof. Emmert left Wednesday for his home in Mt. Morris, Ill.

F.A. Myers and wife and Millie Wine, all of Stanley, spent from Tuesday until Thursday visiting friends.
