Bogseth, Sherri L. (6 JUL 1967 - 4 AUG 2013)
Sherri Lynne Bogseth, 46, of Owen, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17 at the
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.
to 1:00 p.m.
Sherri was born in Stanley on July 6, 1967 to Russell and
Shirley (Wilksman) Doberstein. She graduated from Owen-Withee High School in
1985 and went on to graduate from Chippewa Valley Technical College with an
accounting degree. Following graduation, she was employed by Roehl Transport
Payroll department and by Neitzel trucking. Sherri married Walter "Wally"
Bogseth on January 28, 1994. Later Sherri and Wally took over the family farm
which was Sherri's dream come true. Together, Sherry and Wally had three
children.
Sherri will always be remembered as a wonderful wife and an
extraordinary mother. Sherri loved her family with the utmost of devotion. She
also cared deeply about her friends and was always there to offer them a helping
hand or a kind word. Along with actively working on their family farm, Sherri
found time to volunteer at the Owen-Withee School and with the Woodgrove Workers
4-H Club. Sherri also had a great compassion for animals which is so evident
with all of the pets and animals that the family has.
Sherri will be
lovingly missed by her husband Wally Bogseth, their two sons, Dustin and Dylan
and their daughter, Brooklynne; mother and father: Shirley and Russell
Doberstein; sisters: Debra Niemi and Lori (Tom) Neumann; niece: Corissa (Dan)
Prior; nephews Nicholas Neumann and Joshua Niemi.
She was preceded in
death by her maternal grandparents, Harvey and Helen Wilksman and paternal
grandparents Julius and Ruth Doberstein.
In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the family for the children's education fund.
