Deer could only lawfully
be killed during the month of October.
Fred Mick of Neillsville was
killed by a runaway team Saturday.
Jas. Bryden went to Eau Claire as a
delegate to the state senatorial convention.
Hans Peterson bought the
Healy place on Elm Street and fitted it up for a residence.
B.F. Thompson
marketed 56 bushels of onions from a quarter acre of ground.
An old
fashioned husking bee was held at William Miller's, at which the "red" ears were
very numerous.
The Hutchinson Cooperage Co. put an extensive system of
waterworks for protection to their paint.
J.O. Drake bought a lot west of
the residence of John Stewart and started the erection of a house.
