Meinholdt, Edward E. (23 MAR 1912 – 22 APR 1979)

Edward E. “Pat” Meinholdt died Sunday at his home at 103 S. Thomas St. He was 67.

Services are set for 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Immanual United church of Christ with burial in Westside Cemetery, both in Greenwood. The Rev. Larry J. Davis will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Howard Susa, Jake Barr, Harry Leibzeit, Elmer Kuester, Art Kolstad and Sam Ortwig.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood and at the church Wednesday morning.

Mr. Meinholdt was born March 23, 1912 at Greenwood where he attended schools. He married the former Irene Neuendorf June 25, 1938 in Greenwood.

He had farmed in the town of Eaton until 1976 when he retired and moved to Loyal. He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and town of Eaton board for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Lee of Milwaukee; a daughter, Miss Linda Meinholdt of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Arthur of Merrillan and Louis of Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Alma Kolpanen of Colby; and two grandchildren. Five brothers and a sister are deceased.
