Neillsville Locals (4 June 1970)

Joe Pietrek, Tom Wavrunek, Earl Smith and Lloyd Zimmerman returned Tuesday from a five-day Canadian fishing trip. They caught several trout.

Mr. and Mrs. John Mazola, Jr. and family of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Neuman of Wauwatosa, Mr and Mrs. Gerald Howard and son, Todd, of Spooner and Richard Hagedorn of Neillsville, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard.

Weekend callers at the Hugh Howard home were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mazola and daughter, Brian Schmidt, both of Milwaukee; David Hopfer and daughter of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Mazola, and Mrs. Bell Mazola, all of Roseville.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zech of Madison and Fred Scott of Ladysmith visited Mrs. Blanche Haskins Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Curtiss Yule of New Berlin visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Lukas last week Thursday through Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Sladek of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Walter of Granton visited Memorial Day with Mr. and Mrs. Max Lukas.

Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Greeler and Mr. and Mrs. Erland Greeler and family of the Town of York, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tyler and family of Granton, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mayer and family of Neillsville, spent Tuesday evening at the Raymond Zipfel home and helped their son, Bradley, celebrate his seventh birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Greeler called at the home of her brother, Walley Matter, Spencer, last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arne Matheson of Waukesha spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Evanson.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gunderson, Mrs. Kerry Haroldson and Mrs. Mary Nest and daughter, Julie Nest, all of Marshfield, spent Sunday at the Edwin Evanson home.
