Hewettville (16 Mar 1916)

A home talent play in three acts, entitled “The Deacon’s Second Wife”, will be presented at the Hewettville school on Saturday evening, March 18th, by the young people of the district. Admission is ten and fifteen cents. The proceeds will be used to purchase pictures for the school.

Homer Wood and family visited at Will Ritchie’s Friday afternoon.

Walt Amidon and wife are moving back onto their own place.

Mr. Dux and family called at Will Ritchie’s Friday evening.

Homer Wood bought Mr. Stoutt’s chickens last week.

Mrs. Amidon and Will Dux and family visited at Will Ritchie’s Sunday.

Mrs. H. Wood and children visited at the home of Mr. Dormandy Sunday.

Dr. Snyder called at Will Ritchie’s Saturday to see a sick cow.

Homer Wood and wife visited Will Ritchie Sunday evening.

Ray Cook and family are going to move into Mrs. Ritchie’s house soon.

Irvine Ritchie lost a flash light near the cheese factory Sunday. Finder, please leave with the cheese maker.

Will Ritchie visited at Walt Amidon’s Monday evening.

Mr. Solberger bought logs of Mr. Ritchie last week. He and W. Bielow are hauling them to the Hm. Schoultz mill.
