It seems that spring is here at last. We will soon
be looking for robins and May-flowers.
Quite a few of the young folks
from this vicinity attended the masquerade at Wasserburger’s hall Tuesday night.
Miss Lillie Beyer spent Wednesday at Marshfield with Margaret Schwellenbach,
who is in the hospital there. She also visited the Neillsville High School
Thursday and Friday.
Miss Esther Poppe spent Saturday and Sunday at home.
Gust Belter returned to Janesville Thursday after spending the winter here.
Miss Rachael Clintsman returned to Janesville last week.
Miss Clara
Melhock visited her sister, Mrs. Hm. Beyer, Sunday.
Louie Spranger spent
Sunday ay Ed. Melhock’s.
Reports are that Albert Hemp purchased the old
Geo. Newcomb farm. Consideration $7,200.
Richard Beyer, Ben Miller, Carl
and Lucy Kessler and Tony Wieting spent Sunday evening at Wm. Melhock’s.
