Reineking, Olga (3 April 1896 - 1 July 1970)
Mrs. Olga Reineking, 74, a
lifelong resident of Greenwood, died of an apparent heart attack shortly after
admission on Wednesday afternoon to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Services were held in Immanuel United Church of Christ at 2 p.m. with Rev. David
Logue officiating. Burial was made in the West Side Cemetery.
The former
Olga Meinholdt was born April 3, 1896, at Greenwood. She was married to Otto
Reineking, who preceded her in death April 8, 1954. She was a member of the
Immanuel United Church of Christ; the Women’s Guild; Greenwood chapter, Order of
the Eastern Star, Neighborhood Club, and West-Side Homemakers.
Survivors
include: a son, Norman Reineking, Colby.; two daughters, Mrs. Elvera Fravert of
Greenwood, Mrs. Dale Vollrath of Green Bay; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.
Hans (alma) Kolpanen of Milwaukee; and four brothers, Edward and Oscar Meinholdt
of Greenwood, Louie Meinholdt of Neillsville; Arthur of Merrillan.
Pallbearers were: Elmer and Eldore Humke, Bernard Novobielski, Orvin and Norman
Liebzeit and LeRoy Fravert. The church choir sang, “Softly and Tenderly” and
“Evening Prayer”.

and Mrs. William Becker, Miss Selma Reineking, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sebastian,
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Meinholdt, Mr. and Mrs. Don Simonson, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Hanke, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Buckhardt, Calvin Hanke, Miss Hulda
Stoelting, and Mr. Arno Stoelting, all of Plymouth; Oscar Reineking, Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Arnhoetter and Mrs. Gilbert Voight, all of Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs.
Art Reineking, Grand Marsh; Mrs. Bud Nordness, Michael and Wendy Madison; Mrs.
Holly Meir, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. William Toburen and Mrs. Ruth Robins,
Excelsior, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Comstock, St. Charles, Ill.; Mr and Mrs. Jim
Treichel, Oregon; Mr. and Mrs. Art Meinholdt, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Meinholdt,
Merrillan; Mr. and Mrs. Louie Meinholdt and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wavrunek of
Neillsville.
