Gleaner (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.) (17 Mar 1910)
The crew at the stave
mill raised a purse of $40 for the benefit of Mrs. J.E. Peterson and family.
C. Wollenberg slipped and sprained his ankle Saturday. This was bad for
Chris, for it left his wood pile unprotected.
There was not a vacant
house in the city and the demand for them was almost daily.
David E.
Peterson, aged 47 years, died at his home in this city March 17 from pneumonia.
Mrs. David Shanks, who was ill with a complication of diseases, was taken to
Neillsville for treatment.
