Nelson Timerson and
wife of Spokeville took dinner with their cousin, Mrs. Chas. Broker, last
Sunday. They came to bring their sister, Mrs. Sanford Cole back to finish her
visit among relatives and friends of this place.
James Martindale is
making preparations to move his family to North Dakota.
Dan Timerson and
family of York visited at the former's aunt, Mrs. Chas. Broker, last Sunday.
Irvie Young, Mrs. Chas. Broker, Mrs. W.K. Armitage and Mrs. Sanford Cole
went to Greenwood last Thursday to visit at Del Timerson's, returning home
Friday afternoon.
Mr. A. Duell and wife of Greenwood were down last
Friday to do business and have a little visit at the Wheeler home.
Mrs.
Andy Christie visited her brother, Henry Beeler, last Tuesday afternoon at
Willis J. Armitage's.
Libbie Shaw returned home from Merrillan last
Tuesday.
John Chase did business in Greenwood last Friday.
The
Equity held a meeting at this place last Saturday, March 19. They were unable to
obtain a speaker, as was intended, but they had a good business meeting and made
some new resolutions, had a question box and served dinner at noon.
Irvie
Young and W.K. Armitage attended the funeral services of Lansing Mabie
yesterday, March 20, at Jack Young's of York. L. Mabie was a stepfather of
Irvie.
