David Dux, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux, celebrated his birthday Monay
afternoon and for supper 10 of his friends and relatives, his grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Dux and Mrs. Hilda Thoma, were guess. Evening guests included
Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Hediger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thoma and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family, Mr.
and Mrs. Norman Poppe and family and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schultz.
Mr. and
Mrs. Jimmy Vincent and daughters visited Mr. and Mrs. Norman Poppe and family
Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, Mr .and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and
family and Raymond Kalsow viited Martin Kalsow at Rock Dam and enjoyed an
outdoor picnic dinner July 4.
Robert McDonough of Chicago spent the
weekend with friends and relatives in the Globe area, returning Monday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stutz, Sr., of Loyal were dinner and supper guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family July 4.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma
and family spent Sunday evening with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma.
Mrs. Robert Lemke of Greenwood attended Globe church service Sunday morning
and was a dinner and supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wegner. In the
afternoon they visited friends in Augusta.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and
daughter returned home Wednesday from Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Akright of Sheboygan Falls visited a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Kuenkel and son. On Monday they visited Martin Kalsow at his cabin at Rock Dam.
Monday evening they visited Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Duge and daughters in Fairchild.
Mr. and Mrs. William Mitte and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Adams and
daughters, and their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mitte and family enjoyed a
picnic at Humbird Sunday.
