Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ure of Rockford, Ill., visited relatives here over the weekend. Bonnie, Jimmie and Teddy Ure returned to Rockford with them for a two-week vacation.

Mrs. Edna Jens of Plymouth visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternitzky and other relatives here last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ure and family took a trip to Lake Superior and into Canada from Tuesday until Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Braatz of Eau Claire visited Mr. and Mrs. William Foote Saturday evening.

Mrs. Louise Handke entertained company from Milwaukee Sunday.

Miss Elaine Short of Milwaukee spent her vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short. She also visited Mr. and Mrs. Alan Fremner in Madison over the weekend.

William Dankemyer is a patient at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mrs. Dean Jenens and children, Lynette and Lesyn, who visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemyer, returned to Portage Sunday. Lynette remained for an extended visit. They were accompanied by Mrs. Margarett Jenens of Portage.
