Meyer, Benjamin H. (17 November 1997 - 25 August 2013)
Benjamin H. Meyer, 15, of Neillsville entered Heaven’s glory with his family by
his side Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
Benjamin was born in Indonesia Nov. 17, 1997, to Scott and Rachel (Head)
Meyer. He trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior at age eight. He enjoyed his life
growing up as a missionary kid in Indonesia and wanted to serve the Lord as a
missionary pilot. He also enjoyed assembling Lego sets and reading.
Benjamin is survived by his parents, Scott and Rachel Meyer of Neillsville; his
brothers and sisters, Hannah, Abigail, Esther, Jonathan and Caleb; his
great-grandparents, Don and Cora Piper; grandmother, Harriett Head; as well as
many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Grace Baptist Church, 312 E. 9th St., Marshfield. Pastor
Gary Holloway will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the
time of services at the church. Burial will be at Barnes Memorial Cemetery,
Barnes, on Thursday.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in
Benjamin’s name to “New Tribes Mission” for the “Asia-Pacific Flight Subsidy.”
The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
